Westcoast House 1 is located
on a steeply sloping site
overlooking Loutitt Bay. It is
designed as a compound of
separate structures linked by
a glazed circulation spine.

The arrangement of these
separate components frames

and defines a series of
external spaces which become
implied outdoor rooms.

Integration of the internal and
external areas provides the
opportunity to fully experience
the coastal environment in all
seasons and in varied ways,
with different social groupings.
